Project Topic	The project aims to develop an ultra-high-performance PET-system dedicated to neurodegenerative diseases, neuro-oncology, and epilepsy brain-imaging. This new outstanding tool, intended for research in neurosciences, will have a full brain field of view with unequaled sensitivity/spatial resolution thanks to advanced detector technology and PET reconstruction based on Artificial Intelligence. The gantry will be able to tilt, allowing acquisitions in horizontal as well as in sitting position.
