| Project Topic | We want to develop a novel oral treatment for obesity. The starting point is a compound identified in an Atrogi project that gave substantial weight loss in obese mice. We want to optimise the chemical structure and investigate the unique mechanism – synergistic stimulation of ß-adrenergic receptors. We expect to deliver compounds with the necessary properties for further development to a Candidate Drug (CD) and to form a business alliance with a pharmaceutical company. |
