Project Topic The PHAGEPOW(D)ER project will develop first-in-class anti-bacterial bacteriophage technology to improve food safety. During the project, next generation dry phage formulations (Table 1) will be developed, offering broad-range efficacy and dose-stability, for use as food processing aid. Prototypes will be validated in spice-blends and cold-smoked salmon. The project will deliver validated prototype powder products, ready to be transformed into marketable processing aids for food safety.
