Project Topic	RECIPE will develop a novel technology for the revivable freezing of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) eggs and induction of suspended animation in BSF neonates (0-4 days old). We will deliver ready-to-use insect eggs and neonate products, with extended shelf-life, and long-term preservation of BSF genetic strain services to the insect protein industry, enabling a consistent and efficient BSF larvae (BSFL) production, and thus accelerate the implementation of insects as an alternative protein source.
