| Project Topic | We will develop and pre-clinically validate an innovative lateral meniscus implant for Knee Osteoarthritis (KOA) patients, made of non-degradable polymer that uniquely reproduces the anatomical shape and mechanical properties of the native meniscus. To bring the lateral meniscus to market in a short time with less design iterations, we will include 3D prototype printing to catalyse this process. After the project, the implant will be ready for clinical testing in a First-in-Human (FIH) study. |
