Project Topic	DEEPTRACE’s consortium aims to develop and market a rugged, three-channel system able to monitor in situ the bioavailable forms of 6 hazardous trace metals (Hg, As, Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn) using state-of-the-art bio-analogical sensors. Metal release in aquatic systems is a global issue, DEEPTRACE will provide reliable and highly sensitive readings, providing a unique system for effective implementation compliance of the EU Directives for sustainable management and exploitation of marine ecosystems [1].
