Project Topic	We propose to realize and validate a miniature coherent LiDAR in the beyond 2 µm spectral range for industrial sensing. Utilizing the benefits of size and scaling of photonic integrated circuits (PIC), we aim to deliver an ultra-compact, monolithic LiDAR system for various applications such as trace gas sensing, metrology for additive manufacturing and distance measurement in general. Working in the SWIR spectral region represents a key differentiator for some of these applications.
