| Project Topic | QuarInTex project will develop protective textiles with improved thermal insulation properties. This will be done using an environmentally friendly nano-porous material, Quartzene, modeled on classical aerogel which will be adapted to be used in knitted, woven and nonwoven textiles for workwears and outdoor textile applications. It will offer a unique opportunity to introduce aerogel-integrated products on the European/global market and will enhance competitiveness in EU industries. |
