| Project Topic | We will develop a medical device, CAPTER, to monitor changed cancer drug sensitivity during treatment. CAPTER consist of a flexible wire with proprietary cell-capturing features to collect scarce circulating tumor cells CTCs from the bloodstream. By placing CAPTER in a central vein through the catheter of a patient, we capture and release live CTCs for analysis. This radically innovative approach enables minimally invasive and accurate tumor monitoring, unlocking precision medicine in cancer. |
