Project: Development of a process for manufacturing of tailor made Cu/Bi catalysts for ethynylation reaction
We want to develop a new process for manufacturing of a catalyst for the production of butyne-1,4-diol (BYD) using Reppe process. We want to develop a new technology for the catalyst preparation which would allow us to tune the properties of the catalyst in order to meet specific customers' needs and to scale up the process for a commercial production. BYD proces modelling will be a part of the project in order to discover which parameters of the catalyst are essential for a particular customer.
