Project: SOLARPower2.0 – Solar Panels that make solar farms cost competitive with coal-fired power plants
LineSolar’s MLC Solar PV technology allows solar farms to compete directly with conventional power plants. With 50% lower module production costs (compared to Chinese solar modules) and a 50% higher efficiency (power), we can beat even coal in sunny countries. In this Eurostars project we aim to develop an improved solar cell - crucial for the MLC technology. Key deliverables: improved solar cell with efficiency of 26%, a validated cell production process and prototypes of the Gen II MLC module.
