Project: Novel safe and rapid passenger and airport terminal scanner

Current regulations for the Global airport security industry demands transition of airport security systems from basic metal detector frames and random control to full-body scanning of each passenger. There is a commercial need to renew airport security systems, and our proposed 3D-SAFEAIR system is a high-throughput millimeter wave screening based system allowing real-time screening of moving passengers and present results in 3D image enabling identification of weapons and explosives.
