| Project Topic | The project has two parts. 1) To challenge the conventional way of improving IAQ by using selective molecular filters in air cleaning appliances. We will combine particle filters with selective nanoporous silica filters engineered to target and remove specific unwanted chemicals. 2) To improve air quality in refrigerators and minimize bad odors and prolong shelf life using air filters based on the same selective nanoporous silica filter. The new filters will be tested and commercialized. |
