Timing and methodological steps of involvement

MS/ACs feedback is expected via Partnership Knowledge Hub to the country fiche and its related data requirements. The European Commission and the Expert Group will start with a validation process of the content of each BMR inlcuding also an updated template for the country fiches. This will kick-start the process of completing the country fiches. The major steps in this process are indicated as follows summarising the more detailed steps in section 2.3.1.1.

It needs to be noted that filling in the country fiches is a highly interactive process that takes about 3 months from the time the countries receive the pre-filled in country fiches in week 22 (only the quantitative parts) until the time they submit the final versions in weel 32, following tow rounds of feedback from the Expert Group and a series of office hours aiming to provide explanations and clarifications.

  • Validate the country fiche (content and structure) based on new data and or focus of BMR (Deadline week: 6)
  • Only if needed: If there are some new data requests (e.g., due to the priority themes of the BMR) find national level data sources or if it turns out to be complicated, notify European Commission and the Partnership Knowledge Hub. (In case such a step is relevant the timeline needs to be modified accordingly together with the Expert Group and the Commission)
  • Only if needed: Check if there are some new additional national level data sources your country should engage and start national level data collection (qualitative data for country fiches). Alert your national mirror group/other national level relevant partners to provide this feedback. (In case such a step is relevant the timeline needs to be modified accordingly together with the Expert Group and the Commission)
  • Receive pre-filled CF and check if data are up to date (Week 22)
  • Participate in the office hours provided by the Expert Group and European Commission to clarify the remaining questions raised during the filling of the country fiche. (Weeks 22-24)
  • Provide qualitative data to your fiche (and additional quantitative data if it is needed for BMR and cannot be provided by EC databases) (Week 24)
  • Submit draft final country fiches based on received comments from assigned expert(s) on first draft country fiche (Week 29)
  • Submit final version of country fiches based on ‘super-review’ comments (only if required) (W 32)
  • Give your feedback to the draft findings and conclusions of country fiches (based on both qualitative and quantitative data of the country fiches) via PKH.
