Aim of the joint call

The overall objective is to increase preparedness to (re)-emerging zoonotic diseases and ability to respond to zoonotic threats and contribute to improved animal and public health. Research and innovation funded through ICRAD should seek a concerted approach towards the development of novel and/or improved instruments to understand and control zoonoses, including detection, management, intervention and prevention strategies.
