Call secretariat

It has proven useful to install a "call secretariat" as a central office for managing the joint calls. The workload and responsibilities of the call secretariat need to be clearly defined and planned in advance, ensuring the reliability and efficiency expected by the applicants.

The usual workload will cover all or some of the following duties:

  • Prepare the necessary call documents
  • Provide the required call information & promote the call
  • Provide a system for submission of proposals and distribution to funding organisations
  • Coordinate the evaluation of proposals
  • Prepare a system for monitoring the call implementation
  • Prepare a system for monitoring the funded Projects
