Development of the PRIMA monitoring and evaluation framework

Continuing its support to P2Ps, ERA-LEARN provides advice to PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) for the development of its monitoring and evaluation framework.

Based on Decision (EU) 2017/1324 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2017, PRIMA is an Art. 185 initiative supported and funded under Horizon 2020 – involving the European Commission as well as 19 Participant States among which 11 EU Member States, 3 H2020 Associated Countries and 5 Third Countries. The programme will be implemented from 2018 to 2028 through actions and activities launched through annual calls for proposals. The last round of calls will be launched in 2024.

To gauge the progress of the funded projects as well as of the PRIMA programme itself, the Monitoring and Evaluation framework will help to track and assess the results of the interventions throughout the life of the PRIMA programme.

The Monitoring and Evaluation framework will presumably be completed by the end of the year, allowing the monitoring of the selected projects as well as the entire programme in time for the mid-term review due by February 2022.
