Turning knowledge into value: European tools and valorisation practices

The INSPIRING ERA online event offers a practical overview of knowledge valorisation using real examples and success stories from across Europe.

Across Europe, researchers and research organisations are finding new ways to turn scientific knowledge, ideas and results into societal, economic and environmental benefits. This process of knowledge valorisation can take many forms, from collaboration with industry and public actors to intellectual property management, start-ups and new services.

This online INSPIRING ERA event highlights different approaches to turning research into impact and introduces European-level tools, guidance and support structures designed to help researchers and institutions put knowledge valorisation into practice.

Participants will hear how others have approached knowledge valorisation, what has worked well in different contexts, and what EU-level support is available to help move from research to real-world impact.
