2nd Workshop on phasing-out strategies: Feedback round

In line with the legal requirements of the Horizon Europe Regulation, all European Partnerships are expected to prepare an “exit strategy and measures for phasing out from the Programme” as part of their lifecycle, intended as an ex-ante selection criterion.

The deadline to submit the final phasing-out strategies is Friday 20 March 2026. Following this, the European Commission will provide its approval for adoption by 31 March. Once the approval is received, it is then the responsibility of each partnership to immediately initiate the formal adoption of the strategy within its own governance structure.

To support the partnerships throughout this process, the European Commission organised a feedback workshop designed as another peer-learning and cross-fertilisation forum. This workshop included general feedback on the drafts received and aims to trigger further reflections for the finalisation of the strategies.
