This 2nd workshop on Globalisation of European Partnerships is to follow up and discuss future activities on selected topics of the 1st Workshop.

European Partnerships play an important and increasing role in global European RTI cooperation. First aspects have been briefly discussed in an initiating Workshop on 22 April (More details klick here). This 2nd workshop is to follow up and discuss future activities on selected topics.

Time: May 25, 2021, 14:30 - 16:00 CET
Location: Online

Targeted participants are European research administration officials from Member States and European Commission, with stakes in European Partnerships´globalisation, and European practitioners from European Partnerships with interest in, and/or tasks related to globalisation.

Participation is limited, and subject to confirmation by May 20, 2021.

The following topics will be adressed:
a. How to coordinate European Partnership globalisation with policy level foreign relations in science administrations and diplomatic services?
b. Always the right instrument for mutually beneficial cooperation? Scientific and diplomatic objectives, European Partnership cooperation instruments and their varying appropriateness for global cooperation
c. How to attract and deepen global Partnership cooperation - Membership retention and deepening of long-term mutual benefits
