Description
ERA-PG consisted of a network of 17 funding organisation from European countries and Israel striving to reduce fragmentation in research and to actualise scientific excellence through transnational collaboration, integration and synergy of national plant genomic programmes. To further advance coordination activities, a study on best practices was undertaken. Furthermore, to create a more broadly unified research, the advancement and competitiveness of jointly funded research was monitored. The first joint call for research projects was launched on 1 February 2006.
