ACTIA (The French Network of Food Technology Institutes) is the head of 16 research centres dedicated to food innovation, whose researchers, engineers and technicians provide daily support for companies, especially SMEs. Actia centres intervene in all sectors of the food industries and in the non-food promotion of agricultural products (biotechnology, fine chemistry and pharmacy). Actia mobilises the expertise of its centres in support of public and professional stakeholders through the management of partnership tools, Joint Technical Units and Networks (14 JTUs and 10 Ns respectively).
