| Project Topic | AMANDT project seeks the improvement of parts quality assessment and productivity of PBF-LB process by means of NDT validation. More specifically, this will be accomplished through the development of a novel process chain for PBF-LB parts, in which an ultimate NDT validation protocol will be selectively implemented on 100% of produced parts, targeted for critical structural and mechanical features that need to be fulfilled for the selected application. By doing this, it would be possible to establish a correlation between working parameters and part properties characterization from a NDT validation point of view. Hence, it would be possible to adapt them to produce more efficiently, reducing time and energy. |
