Project: Make to Order Fast and Smart Scheduler

Future production sites for a large variety of sophisticated products will offer shorter cycle times, small order sizes and affordable prices. This MOFSS project planned for 24 month duration is aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of European companies, particularly SMEs and focused on companies with a Make to Order production system, in smart and fast scheduling systems that improves the efficiency, adaptability and sustainability of production systems and allows these to be incorporated into flexible business models and agile manufacturing processes. The main result of the project will be a prototype of a functional product for industrial production scheduling which can be economically exploited in a short-medium term by the consortium. A well-balanced consortium has been built involving two SME´s and a Private Research Centre from Spain and Portugal.
