Aim of the joint call The KDT JU WP-2021 foresees the launch of 3 calls for proposals with an estimated EU expenditure of EUR 208.00 million. Some additional communication activities related to the launch of KDT JU are foreseen. The first two calls aim at the reinforcement of the industrial competitiveness, by supporting the growth of existing partnerships and/or fostering new partnerships on technologies that already are at a higher TRL level. The CSA call will support the establishment of a “Pan European chip infrastructure for design innovation”. This will guarantee a service to academia, research institutes and SMEs that provides access to EDA tools, multi-project wafers, nurtures growth of the design ecosystem, and stimulates design reuse.
