| Project Topic | Viticulture and fruit crop production have to cope with several biotic and abiotic stresses resulting in high pesticide input and potential crop loss. A sprayable water-based formulation is to be developed, together with protective compounds to be embedded resulting in silicon dioxide nanolayers on plant surfaces effective against fungal infections and sunburn. An environmental and consumer friendly product for application in the field and on the shelf will be delivered. |
