| Project Topic | We will develop a sail plan system for the shipping industry. E-NAV will receive real time data feeds from meteorological, coastal, sea state, vessel and Earth observation data archived in Copernicus. E-NAV will develop, revise and transmit sail plans and forecasts to onshore and offshore fleet managers and navigators. It will optimise fuel consumption, minimise hull fatigue, optimise sail time, demonstrate compliance with maritime law and reduce CO2 emissions. |
