Project Topic	The consortium will develop and clinically validate a smart monitoring solution (SmartAF) for continuous monitoring of risk patients (e.g. age > 55years, diabetes or hypertension) to detect undiagnosed Atrial Fibrillation (AF) during hospitalization. The solution consists of wearable devices to continuously collect pulse wave data and intermittently ECG recordings, validated algorithms to detect AF episodes, telecare verification technology and a platform for integration into hospital ICT.
