However, application is hampered due to the manual and complex manufacturing process. Current manufacturing capacity is not even sufficient for the first orphan indications and CAR-T costs >300,000 EUR/treatment. The SCALE-CAR consortium will deliver a disruptive automated CAR-T treatment that can be scaled to reach tens of thousands of MM patients against affordable costs. |
