Project Topic	The objective is to produce electro-mechanical linear actuators, EMA, to replace the hydraulic lifting cylinders in a Kalmar Empty Container Handler truck. This will enable regeneration of energy when lowering, simulated to reduce total lifting energy by 68%, and improve the lifting speed by 30%, boosting the productivity of the truck. The project will demonstrate the improvements by field tests in a prototype truck.
