Project Topic	We will develop TW-peak-power level longwave infrared (LWIR) laser system operating at the 10 um wavelength and delivering pulses as short as 100 fs. The system will rely on the OPCPA (optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier) technology and will consist of a frontend, pump laser operating in a burst mode, NIR multi-pulse multi-color frequency converter and a final single-pulse LWIR frequency converter.
