| Project Topic | In this project the novel treatment of the change of mechanical and biometric properties of human cornea treated with femtosecond (fs-)crosslinking (CXL-corneal collagen crosslinking) will be established and compared to conventional ultraviolet (UV-)CXL. Therefore a finite-element-model with simulated CXL will be developed which can and validated by clinical results. Finally a simulation software predicting the property outcome of variable fs-laser CXL for keratoconus treatment will be delivered |
