Project Topic	The project will make wave energy competitive by increasing the amount of wave energy harvested and reduce installation and maintenance costs. Wavepiston is a wave power system where plates move back and forth pumping pressurised seawater to a turbine-generator station on shore. The challenge which we seek to address is the stress on the plates in extreme weather. The objective is to develop and test a load control system in collaboration with Fiellberg (specialised in seawater hydraulics).
