Project Topic	Current power converters are large and heavy, and their ranges are limited to current applications. TransPod and Ikos aim to develop and build an innovative reversible power converter that will convert differential +/- 3,000V direct current (DC) to differential centertapped +/- 600V ~ 800V DC and support up to 2MW of power. This power converter will be lighter and much smaller than current products, and it will dissipate heat efficiently. It will fit several fast growing markets.
