| Project Topic | In this project we want to develop an oral formulation for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) that yields longer drug stability, easier administration, the opportunity of controlled release, has a high bioavailability and does not need a cold chain. We will make nanopartiles containing the mAbs by supercritical CO2 spray-drying and enclose them in microparticles. By encapsulating these particles the drugs can survive the stomach and the gut environment and will be released into the bloodstream. |
