Project Topic	This project will deliver a novel process to allow waste aircraft de-icing fluid (ADF) to be recovered and re-used on site. Existing treatment systems convert huge quantities of waste ADF, reprocessing it to first obtain >99% glycol which is then diluted again to obtain ADF. In contrast, our approach produces 76% less waste fluid (which also contains more glycol) and recovers it for re-use in a single step. This massively reduces energy use and running costs by around 89%.
