Project: Development of an Extended Coverage Cellular Internet of Things System-on-chip and related Module
We will develop a system-on-a-chip (SoC) platform with software, for the upcoming cellular Internet of Things (cIoT) networks with extended coverage (EC), enabling “things” such as smart meters and automobiles to be reachable even in basement, buried underground or deployed in remote areas. The SoC itself is the product for the leading SME partner ACP and modem modules based on this SoC will be exploited by the end-user partner Sony-Mobile for applications ranging from B2B to industrial control.
