Project: Continuous pesticide sensing in the environment
The overall objective of the CoPs project is to develop an integrated autonomous electrochemical system for in-situ pesticide residue monitoring in groundwater supplies, lakes and rivers. CoPs will identify specific contaminants and transmit real-time data on contaminant levels and movements in natural water systems. Water supply managers will be alerted to imminent spikes in water contaminant levels and risks to public health.
