Project: Development of bacteriophages for the reduction of Campylobacter in live and processing poultry

To obtain a new product that significantly reduces the presence of Campylobacter spp. in fresh poultry products throughout the food chain by using bacteriophages, an innocuous biological strategy which specifically targets its host and allows versatile forms of applications. The product will be used in both live poultry pre-slaughter and post slaughter. Phage based product(s) will be delivered as a feed additive; processing aid and surface treatment agents.
