Project: Prehospital care process optimization with a microwave-based system for diagnostics and monitoring

The expected result is a new diagnostics system for stroke for the around 200,000 ambulances and the 15 million yearly stroke patients, around the world, that stand to benefit from faster diagnosis and treatment. Only a small fraction of the ischemic stroke patients who could benefit from thrombolytic treatment reach diagnosis and treatment in time. It is the purpose of the present application to address this problem and contribute towards a solution.
