Project: Improving of fish viral diseases monitoring through the development of rapid diagnostic tests
The aim of the project is to improve the farmed fishes viral dieseases monitoring system through the development a fast, comprehensive, specific and sensitive LFD tests to detect two main viral diseases: viral haemorrhagic septicaemia (VHS) and infectious haematopoietic necrosis (IHN) that can be used in the field conditions. FISHGUARD is a response to the growing demand for new diagnostic tools on the veterinary, including aquaculture, market.
