Project: Development of wound healing device with biologically active salmon roe extract

This project will deliver a novel oral mucosal wound healing device integrating biological active components extracted from unfertilized salmon eggs (VERNEX). The technology for the device development using salmon embryonal bioactives is protected by 6 granted (US, AU, CA, RU) patents and additional 12 pending patents. The timeline for the project is 24 months in which the final milestone is submission of a medical device file, followed by CE marking and subsequently US 510k class II approval.
