Project: Advanced simultaneous grinding processes and machine developments for increasing efficiency.

The aim of the project is to produce a new generation of grinding machines that would allow a substantial productivity increase. This new grinding machines will incorporate advanced features in key subassemblies, namely, new architectures on tool heads allowing simultaneous processes, high productivity CBN wheels based on superabrasive grinding layers combined with high damping CARBON core and, finally, new hydrostatic systems in spindles and slides with improved damping properties.
