Project Topic	To develop diagnostic assays for the multiple detection of enteric and respiratory pig pathogens of the highest economic impact from body fluids. These assays will combine aptamer technology (small DNA fragments engineered to bind a particular molecule with high affinity and specificity) with monoclonal antibodies, taking advantage of both technologies with an increase of sensitivity compared to current standard assays. The deliverables will be two multiplex assays as well as a reading software.
