Aim of the joint call The call aims at funding research proposals in the field of Synthetic Biology, which can be described as a multidisciplinary approach at the intersection of life sciences, engineering and information technology. Strengthen the research community in Synthetic Biology, and to coordinate further development in a socially responsible and sustainable way; The 2nd joint call will allow the synthetic biology community to deepen and enlarge these collaborations. Furthermore, the 2nd call will be used to enact the recommendations of the newly published ERASynBio Strategic Vision (download: It will encourage and support activities in responsible research and innovation; community building; training and education and data and technologies.
