Project Topic Challenges addressed and AAL-solutions proposed CogniWin is an innovative service that will be developed to support to older adults working in highly computerized environments to stay longer at their work by supporting them to increase their efficiency and effectiveness. In particular, the service will support the older adults to overcome eventual ageing related memory degradations and gradual decreasing of their cognitive capabilities, and at the same time increase their learning abilities resulting in a better acceptance of organizational and infrastructural change. Moreover, it will provide them well-being guidance by monitoring their physiological signals through an intelligent mouse and an eyetracker and combining those with older adults personal data. 2. Target groups for the AAL-solution proposal The target group is the big group of older adults of 55+, with or without light physical or cognitive age related limitations, who are engaged in computerized tasks that require an intensive cognitive effort and a high tuning level of concentration. 3. Technology to be employed signal processing and pattern recognition, control and instrumentation, sensors integration and devices design, behavioural analysis, cognitive modelling, semantic design, knowledge processing and Adaptative Interfaces 4. Business model The main offering of CogniWin is a service that will be offered to the end users both directly, as a stand-alone service to be paid by the older adults or/and through secondary end-users, i.e. the organizations employing the older adults, which will pay for the solution costs. 5. End user participation Two well-selected use cases (a multi-national company and a Care and Cure organization) where older adults have being working on computerized environments will be carried out. Two pilots, in the Netherlands and Switzerland representing the two different use cases, will be carried out.
