Project: Platform supporting vitality and abilities of elderly

| Project Topic | TURNTABLE is a white label, extendable ICT platform addressed to 65+ years old users, supporting healthy and active ageing. The idea merges two ways of how to approach active aging: a bottom up approach from concrete, existing building blocks (a gardening and a nutrition application) that can be integrated in a single digital solution; and a top down long-term vision of a platform covering up to 60% of the elderly’s daily needs (which will also provide additional services and products). For this reason, the TURNTABLE solution will integrate various ICT tools into one intuitive, personalized, extensible AAL platform, with the aim to support vitality and ability of the elderly starting with the prevention of social isolation, physical inactivity and unhealthy eating behaviours. The reach of European dimensions of the platform, co-creation and testing sessions will be held in 4 EU states. The solution will be introduced in 200 actual users’ real lives for a period of 12 months. |
