New case studies on current approaches to alignment

Three additional case studies have been conducted as part of the ERA-LEARN 2020 Task 4.2 “Assessment of Current Approaches to Alignment”. They focus on:

• The transnational network of research funding organisations “Humanities in the European Research Area” (HERA), which has been established thanks to the ERA-NET scheme (European Research Area Networks), that is co-funded by the EC and facilitates the launch of joint calls for project proposals;
• The shared use of the German Research Vessel SONNE, undertaken in the context of a transnational research project launched by the Joint Programming Initiative Healthy and Productive Seas and Oceans (JPI Oceans);
• The Joint Mapping exercise conducted in the context of the Joint Programming Initiative on Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change (FACCE-JPI), which relied on Mapping Meetings and other instruments.
