ERA-LEARN networking event 2026: Bridging European Partnerships: Connecting, Sharing, Growing

As the next European Partnership Stakeholder Forum has been scheduled by DG RTD for 2027, after concluding the negotiations on Horizon Europe 2028-2034 , ERA-LEARN will organise a networking event for the Partnership community on 18 November 2026 in Vienna, Austria. The one-day event will start in the morning and conclude with a networking dinner in the evening. Further details and registration will be published soon on the ERA-LEARN website.

Description:

The event will focus on the implementation of FP9 partnerships, on fostering networking and exchange among stakeholders. Building on a targeted and interactive format, it will bring together a focused group of participants to facilitate in-depth discussions and practical knowledge sharing. The programme will consist of plenary sessions and parallel, hands-on workshops addressing key aspects of the implementation of current partnerships, enabling participants to exchange experiences, identify good practices and discuss common challenges in an open and collaborative setting. Networking will be facilitated with a networking tool.

 In line with this implementation-oriented approach, the event will not address discussions on FP10 or portfolio building, thereby complementing the broader strategic discussions taking place in the Partnership Stakeholder Forum to be organized in 2027. However, the event will provide an open space for participants interested in exchanging views on FP10 in an informal setting. This activity is participant-led and does not involve formal participation of the European Commission.

The workshop programme is developed in close collaboration with all European Partnerships. We therefore invite you to suggest workshop topics and nominate speakers who can share their expertise and address the needs of partnership stakeholders. For the plenary sessions, we are also looking for examples of good practice from European Partnerships on topics of broad relevance. We warmly encourage you to propose topics presented by your Partnership.
