Partnership Knowledge Hub (PKH) Work Plan 2026
The Partnership Knowledge Hub (PKH) is aligning its 2026 work plan with the preparation of the next EU Framework Programme (FP10) and future European Partnerships. The main focus is on accompanying the process of developing a new portfolio approach and supporting the identification and selection of future partnerships.
The work will follow a flexible, step-by-step approach, taking into account parallel processes such as Council negotiations and programme drafting with the goal of delivering a PKH contribution to the future partnerships portfolio by the end of 2026.
Key activities include defining criteria, identifying and prioritising thematic areas, and developing and finalising the portfolio.

2nd Workshop on Phasing-out Strategies: Slides & Recording available
To support the partnerships throughout their process of creating their phasing-out strategies, the European Commission organised a feedback workshop on 11 February 2026, designed as another peer-learning and cross-fertilisation forum. The workshop included general feedback on the drafts received and aimed to trigger further reflections for the finalisation of the strategies.
As the strategies are “living documents” partnerships are encouraged by the Commission to regularly review and update the strategies as the policy context evolves. The (updated) FAQ document in this regard provides the necessary guidance.
